TruNature Advanced Digestive Probiotic is a widely popular probiotic with over 10 billion CFUs and 3 different probiotic strains, with over 100 capsules it’s a great budget probiotic that should give you some proper health benefits.
After taking my 100th capsule yesterday and finishing the box, here’s my experience with it.

TruNature Digestive Probiotic Ingredients
There are 10 billion living organisms in each of the capsules, coming from 3 different probiotic strains:
- Lactobacillus acidophilus,
- Bifidobacterium lactis,
- L. rhamnosus GG
Two of the above particularly stand out to me, first off Bifidobacterium lactis as it’s been quite effective for me over the years particularly with my gut issues.
My mother also likes the strain particularly because it helps with her Irritable bowel Syndrome, she also says that it’s one of the better probiotics for UTI treatment.
The strain above also helps me, as I always feel an immune system boost and my ability to digest lactose gets better, even though I’m lactose intolerant.
The second strain I really like is Lactobacillus acidophilus, it’s actually my favorite probiotic strain, because it helps with bloating and gas. It’s also perfect if you plan on going travelling, as it’s a great fighter against traveller’s diarrhea.
Recommended dosage for TruNature Probiotic
The recommended daily dose by TruNature is a single capsule before a meal with a glass of water, optionally you could also increase to 2 capsules if you feel the need or don’t notice any effects.
I started with a single capsule, but upped it to 2 capsules per day after the first week.
TruNature Digestive Probiotic Benefits
As much as I love this probiotic due to how affordable it is, I was a little disappointed about the positive effect.
I mentioned that I upped the dosage to 2 capsules per day after the first week, the reason was that I simply didn’t experience any major or life changing benefits (the ones I do with my usual probiotic).
And even today, after finishing the entire 100 capsules, I still have to see some benefits.
Yes, my digestion was ok and I didn’t have any gut problems, but I believe that’s more due to my usual probiotic that did such an incredible job at patching and cleaning out my gut.
TruNature Probiotic Side Effects and Allergens
It seems that due to the potency of this probiotic being so low, side effects luckily aren’t the case.
It would be kind of funny if I didn’t experience any benefits and then had side effects, right?
Regarding allergy concerns, I’m happy to say that these capsules are 100% free of gluten, soy and dairy, HOWEVER…
They’re not free of wheat, nuts and eggs – or at least that info is not listed on the packaging, so I’d advise you to be careful about that.
There are also other ingredients that may cause some allergies, so I’ll list them, so you can ensure you’re not allergic to any of these: cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), and titanium dioxide.

TruNature Probiotic Review
To be completely honest with you, I’m on the fence regarding this probiotic, yes, it’s incredibly affordable, contains a good count of CFUs and probiotic strains, but it simply wasn’t effective for me.
