UP4 Daily Probiotics have not been around for a long time, in fact I couldn’t really find many reviews online before ordering them for myself to test out.
Hopefully this review can change that and help you make the right buying decision when browsing through dozens of different probiotic options.
UP4 Probiotic Full Review & Opinion
UP4 Probiotics Ingredients
If we take a look at the ingredients before starting the review, you’ll immediately notice just how close attention the company dedicated when making this probiotic, as it’s 100% vegan, which is always great to see.
Additionally it’s also free of dairy, gluten and soy – always a big plus.
Regarding its potency there are 5 Billion CFUs and 2 probiotic strains in the UP4 Daily probiotic, these strains include:
- Lactobacillus acidophilus
- Bifidobacterium longum
Both are quite good, although I believe 2 probiotic strains and only 5 billion CFUs isn’t enough for any noticeable difference in your health, immune system or your gut function.
Nonetheless, I like the strains.
I like Lactobacillus acidophilus, due to its positive and beneficial effects on boosting the immune system and decreasing the chances of one one getting UTI (read here) or infections with yeast.
Additionally, it’s also been proven that Lactobacillus acidophilus is absolutely excellent at reversing and helping IBS and Crohn’s disease.
In regards to why I like Bifidobacterium longum, I like it because of the beneficial effects it has on the bloodwork, including lowering cholesterol levels in the blood, reducing allergies and also alleviating diarrhea and other stomach problems.
Recommended daily dosage for UP4 Daily Probiotics
The recommended daily dose is 1 capsule per day with a bit of water, ideally 3 minutes before a meal. Quite easy to remember right?
However, chances are you simply won’t feel the effects on such a low dose, considering the low CFU and probiotic strain count, that’s the reason why I upped it to 2 capsules per day.
UP4 Probiotics Benefits
Usually, I expect improved digestion, less bloating, no more cold hands and feet and also more energy – at least that’s the results I get with my day to day probiotic (I’ll share it below).
Unfortunately, these results were not experienced with the UP4 Daily Probiotics. Maybe this was because I switched from my usual probiotic to UP4, which is WAY LESS effective?
I’m not sure about the reason, but other than my digestion being ok, I really didn’t experience any other benefits.
Even my feet and hands started feeling cold again after a month of using UP4, which is usually not a good sign. :/
UP4 Probiotics Side Effects and Allergies
Luckily in the month of taking the UP4 Daily Probiotic I didn’t experience any side effects, which is quite nice, but again, it makes me doubt about the effectiveness of this product.
The reason for that is because it’s common and at this point after testing so many probiotics I even expect to feel a bit of a digestive distress for the first few days after switching probiotics. Unfortunately (or surprising rather), I didn’t feel any difference.
In regards to the allergens that can be found in the UP4 Daily Probiotic, you’re in luck, because the capsules are 100% certified vegan and contain no dairy, gluten or soy. They’re also preservative-free, which makes this a great after antibiotic probiotic – medbio.info/best-probiotics-after-antibiotics/
The only allergen that I’d keep in mind is rice maltodextrin – be careful if you don’t do well with rice.
Some other ingredients that you should be aware of are vegetable cellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate, silica, and Fructooligosaccharides (FOS).

UP4 Daily Probiotics Review
Overall, if you asked me if I could honestly recommend this probiotic to you, I simply couldn’t answer with a yes or no…
If you currently have absolutely 0 health problems, then this probiotic is a great maintenance probiotic that will ensure your health stays well.
But if you’re struggling with some digestive problems, be it bloating, diarrhea, constipation or a weak immune system, then I can’t recommend this probiotic, because there are MANY BETTER OPTIONS out there.
For example, this is the one I use.
Briana is 33 years old, comes from LA and has 2 kids. Her interest in health supplements (probiotics in particular) started about 6 years ago when she started having a few health problems and noticed she started to gain weight. Today, Briana is healthy and in great shape and dedicates herself to help others improve their health through probiotics.
